today Dr Rev Kong shared about God, the father..
Father often links to protection, providence.
He doesn't judge us, forces us to go beyond our limits.
but it is ourself, trying to outdo our limits, trying hard to perform, to excel in this performance-oriented world, essential to be loved by people.
we often think: God will not accept me into His kingdom if i don't bring more souls to Christ
or that :God will not forgive us if we continue to sin and had sinned.
God is so magnanimous! He is God the Great.
i am so blessed by the sermons...
i decided to let go, to forgive, to forget, to accept...
because, if i am going to judge, the same measure will be measured back to myself.
and i would suffocate just by living up to other's expectation.
so why judge? Are we putting ourselves higher to God?
Fellowship
we have financial bondage. which causes us to be in debts. which restricts us to fellowship enthusiastically. which causes bitterness and disagreements.
we have really really bad time managements. we are last minute workers. we are constantly finding ourselves having no me-time. we are too accustomed to being busy, and when we are free, we ask people out, and then regretting it.
leaders. bears good testimony. be a good role model. be respectful and in turn earn respect.
we should prioritize and not shortchanged ourselves!
