life is just like a piece of paper (and) correction tape/fluid.

when one makes a mistake, ones tend to cancel/correction tape/liquid the mistake away. but the mistake would not be forgotten. sometimes using a weak brand of correction tape, it will peel off, and the new answers that you wrote on them are gone. and BAMP. the old mistake is back, right in front of you. 

or rather, using correction fluid, the mistake is still visible after a few days. (try it) or there will be a yellow stain that stays for life. 

so why look at the past? just move on, get a new clean sheet of paper and renew your life. ^^
